Da Mario in Florence Guesthouse

Perfect spot in the city center! Mario was an amazing host and the space was beautiful!!

Location is 30 out of 10! Internet connection and wifi speed was amazing! Clean place, sheets, pillows, and towels were spotless. Old building with character which is what we liked. We felt the vibe of Florence. Cottage style ceilings, large windows in the common area. The common area is tastefully decorated with old chest cabinet and other items which makes it special. Bathroom and shower very clean and renovated. The main bed and sofa bed were both super comfortable. Kitchen is good. Large fridge and freezer. The cups and glasses and plates are unique which I enjoyed the experience. The owner and his wife were very nice and kind people and they responded very quickly if we needed something. There was a room with a dresser and large mirror and ample light for makeup and getting dressed which was a plus. There is only one AC unit which is in the bedroom. But it was strong enough to keep the whole area comfortable.

Really nothing bad at all. Only there is no street view in the bedroom or kitchen or the hall where the sofa is. ; which is not a major thing. One doesn’t spend much in the hotel when they travel. Would be good to have a hook next to shower for towel so it can be grabbed without leaving the shower. That’s all. The place was really wonderful with a lot of character. We will definitely come back!

Mario was super friendly, offered recommendations, checked in and made sure we were taken care of. The room was clean and nice. It was easy to get to from the train station (that was our goal), quiet and we would happily stay here again.

We don't have any complaints.

Host was very helpful giving us recommendations for where to have dinner ect. Easy walking distance to major sites.
