Overall, it is good and sufficient for us. However if one the room, have a twin bed. One our members couldn't sleep sharing a bed.. Hence she moved to sleep on the sofa in the living room. May consider to have a shower curtain between the bath and toilet, that would allow other to use the toilet while one in the shower. Also will keep water from splashing unto the floor and wet / slippery for others when step in.
The steps... Two or three at the bottom creek when we stepped on it... My friend on the sofa was disturbed every time someone went down to the toilet in the middle of the night

The Vanguard is clean and comfortable and is only a mile from the centre. Off road parking was a bonus. The Owners were very good with comms. An all round relaxing stay
My housemates couldn't find any complimentary tea or coffee. Not a big issue, just an observation

Walking distance to town, decent size bedrooms, responsive host
The living room could be better thought out and the lighting needs to be more ambient. The kitchen utensils and cookware need updating.
