Sauna and hot tub

We loved everything about Woodland Bay Retreat - it is by far our favourite holiday property. The hosts are wonderfully warm and welcoming, the home is beautiful and bright with stunning water and mountain views, and the on-site facilities including hot tub, sauna and fitness room are amazing! We travelled with our seven year old who adored the tree house, the games room, the chess set and the resident alpacas. Everything has been thought of for a comfortable, relaxing stay, and the home is extremely well equipped including a fantastic kitchen, full laundry, and gorgeous little touches like beautiful locally handcrafted candles and reed diffusers, a welcome hamper of goodies on arrival, and fishing gear to use in the nearby bay. The bedding was extremely comfortable, the views from the primary bedroom and ensuite are simply incredible, and we slept so well. We were so surprised how warm the house stayed with well designed heating including panel heaters and floor heating in the bathrooms. We truly loved everything!

We stayed a week and could have easily stayed a month (or longer). We simply didn't want to go home!

It exceeded our expectations. The hosts even left us a basket of goodies to get us through the first couple of days. The way the house is styled to the beautiful views was def a place to relax and enjoy the company of friends and the wellness retreat was an added bonus and that was awesome as well.
