This property is located 10 minutes by car from the City Centre or Madina. It costs you around 6-10 dinnars to get to the centre and there are always taxis out there. It is also very close to the airport. You either need to have your own phone and know Arabic or French to call the host or if the taxi driver calls on your behalf, he charges you. The lady then will collect you and explain everything. It is a very smooth process overall and Waheed, the host, and the lady who assists him are always available to help and reply to your requests. There is a super market just in front of the apartment plus some restaurants and cafes. In 5 minutes walk, you can reach an exchange. It seems to be a safe area, although we weren't out during the night. The apartment is part of a complex where the whole residential and surrounding area is quiet. You can have a good sleep there. It is warm and most of the time you can have a warm bath, except when the other flats are using the bath.

The overall apartment is not very clean unfortunately, It is not just about cleanliness, it is not hygienic. There are no duvet covers available. The pillow or mattress covers have not been changed for ages or at all. The kitchen is somehow unusable. Very dirty utensils, There is a piece of dirty cloth, as if has been used to clean the grease from an engine, and apparently it is what you have to wash the dishes with! The cabinets are full of empty dirty jars of oils and spices. No wonder the space is full of cockroaches. There is no kettle to boil some water and the pots are so dirty and oily that you don't want to use them to make any tea. The coffee pot is full of dried coffee that can't be removed and is unusable. The same is true about the bathroom. The host needs to have a deep cleaning and make the space tourist-friendly. Definitely, each guest needs their own set of sheets.
