Lovely to stay in a traditional Austrian Pension house, slight mobility issues due to our age. Beautiful Austrian breakfast. We loved the short stay to visit Kitzbuhl. Great Italian Restaurant closeby.
Old traditional staircase was a bit of a challenge but we were ok.

Location is a reasonable walk to the train station, but very accessible to the city centre & in a quiet street. The room is relatively small, but space is functional. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, in particular the enthusiastic gentleman that manages the property. Breakfasts were especially good. Notwithstanding the few difficulties mentioned below, I think the warmth, enthusiasm and friendliness of the staff outweighed any negative aspects, and we enjoyed our stay here.
The weather was exceptionally hot during our stay, and so was our room. We could get some breeze at night by opening the windows if we were happy to accommodate insects. We inquired about the possibility of a fan, but none available. Contrary to indications, no kettle in room, and the WiFi was very patchy - its an old building with very thick walls, so sometimes had to go out in the corridor to get reception.

Good location for town and ski lifts.
Friendly owner
Would have liked a lounge area to meet other guests and relax with tea or coffee after days out rather than being confined to bedroom with very limited non German TV options.
