The staff at Dog and Castle were lovely. My dogs and I were made to feel very welcome. The room was larger than expected.. Food was very good and nice selection of beers in the bar.
The shower in my room wasn't working. It was a one night stay so I didn't have time to try and get it sorted.

Ideal for the one night stay for work, very comfy bed and self-contained room in the outbuilding was fine.
Staff and food are the highlights. The lady doing reception and the bar, Della(?) was lovely, really helpful and friendly and the food was very good. I had the lamb donner and pigs in blankets, really delicious. Decent range of beer too.

Bathroom needs updating and some hooks on the wall but this is something they were planning to do next.
