Lovely location away from busy Portree. Great water views. The bathroom was beautifully done.

The room is small and very overpriced, by at least £30 ($50). It is a 5 star hotel price without all that comes with it. The hosts are nowhere to be seen. I sent a message for wine glasses which was responded to 24 hours later. Wine glasses did appear whilst we were out and a text sent. Unbelievably there wasn’t a toilet brush let alone a toilet roll holder. We sat the paper on the bathroom bin and it was very uncomfortable not having a toilet brush. This is just so inconsiderate. Breakfast was so unhealthy. All highly processed foods including packaged croissants, white bread and light yoghurt full of artificial sweeteners. There were however 2 small packets of a high fibre cereal and some other sugar filled cereal. This was not replenished as stated in the website. One mug was also not replaced. Coffee was instant! Unacceptable at $300 a night. Fresh fruit was provided. We could hear a child crying inside the house on the first night. Also, you get one hour of heating morning and night! Totally incredible. We left feeling so unwelcome. This review will make no difference, as other guests have made the same comments and nothing seems to change. The hosts always respond with the same copy and pasted message. They do not address the issues, so really they just don’t care.

Impeccablement propre et très bien équipé, salle de bain moderne et vue sur le loch. endroit tranquille. Le propriétaire des lieux s'informe bien de nos besoins. On a adoré l'endroit. idéal pour être prèes de Portree.

In tegenstelling tot eerdere reacties kunnen we niks zeggen over de eigenaren. We hoorden ze wel, maar ze kwamen ons niet verwelkomen of een praatje maken. Het ontbijt viel enorm tegen. Je kon het nauwelijks een ontbijt noemen. Er stond een fruitschaal met appels en bananen. Er stond een fles melk in de koelkast en er lagen van die langhoudbare voorverpakte croissants, mini pannenkoeken en chocolade broodjes (allemaal heel erg droog) en wat jam en granen. Gelukkig stonden er de eerste dag 2 mini yoghurtjes in de koelkast, maar die stonden er de volgende dag niet en het bestek lag er ook niet meer. Het leek wel of ze dachten dat we maar 1 nacht zouden blijven. Er was wel een broodrooster zonder toast. Dus hebben we maar zelf toast en jus d' orange gehaald. Jammer want je betaald voor een kamer met ontbijt.
