The staff were very courteous and welcoming. The Breakfast was very well presented and cooked and on time.

The EVENING MEAL. C HOICES AND DRINK CHOICES WERE WIDE BUT COULD BE MORE ATRACTIVE TO A WIDER CLIENTELE IF 10 TO 20% cheaper. The additional service charge of 12 1/2 % was a big dissapointing surprise .

An exceptional stay from start to finish. The location was perfect for my business trip — only a five-minute walk from where I had my meetings, and very conveniently located for the M40. There is plenty of parking, the facilities are excellent, and the hotel has beautiful large grounds. Both the hosts and the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We had a great experience and will definitely be back. I would happily book The Evergreen Hotel again for future business trips and for our company groups. Highly recommended!

We originally had booked at the Greene King inn - on arrival there we were informed of excessive noise disturbance and alluded to security issues. We booked The Evergeen Hotel as an emergency option and are SO GLAD we did - Jessica, the owner, and her husband are two of the kindest most genuine people we've met in a long time. To say the welcoming was warm would be an understatement; and they wanted to do absolutely anything to make our stay more comfortable. The rooms are large, super clean, well maintained and great facilities; the surrounds are wonderful and our sleep was incredibly peaceful. I've stayed many places all over the world but have seldom come across such a quaint place, owner-run and deeply caring owners that make you feel like you are at home rather than in a hotel. Highly recommended ++ only 5 mins drive from the centre of town!
