Emperooms Guest House

Clean rooms beautiful detailing. Great location on the fringe of the old city. Felt relaxing.

Nothing

The location beside Santa Maria Majoria Basilica - The 7 minute walk to Roma Train Station to get the express train to the Airport(FCO). The accommodation is in an old building (Rome Old = "Character" not Negative). The individual rooms are clean modern, well appoointed and themed on certain locations in Rome. I did have to walk up 3 floor to get to the accommodation main entrance but there is an old fashioned cage lift. This being Rome there are cafes and reataurants everywhere. The area is safe. The Metro is nearby but you can walk to the coleusseum in 15-20 minutes. Marco, in particular was very resonponsive to any queries I had by WhatsApp.

I can not thing of anything that negatively affected my stay.

Location and very clean facilities. Well thought out. Great hosts.

Was hard to find the room and check in initially (had to use stairs with luggage because lift not working).

Located close to Termini train station which was convenient

Didn’t realise it was an aparthotel basically an apartment with locks on each bedroom door then a communal kitchen area. Very noisy with other guests coming and going. We also requested a cot which was not there when we arrived, we asked for one then and were told it would be delivered but by 7pm it hadn’t. We chased again and were told it would be dropped off at 9pm! Which was not appropriate or convenient as our baby was already asleep for the night.
