At the time, this listing said events (weddings, birthday parties, etc.) were allowed with max # of event attendees as 15 but "okay with more guests too". This is why I chose it for my bday games night (which would only have 20 guests, with only 8 staying over). Also, the host messaged around 1 or 2am that their last guest broke the AC but when I asked if I could visit early to see if I needed extra fans / a portable AC, they said no as "it's not a hotel". They also said "I'm not telling you not to come" but that it'd be too hot & the neighbours are "crazy, old" & might call the cops. Why would they list that weddings/bdays are allowed then? A few minutes later, as I was considering splitting my guests into 2 sessions & other ways to salvage the situation, the host cancelled on me, the reason being that I broke house rules. Not only did they cancel without any indication or even asking me to reduce my guest list, but they gave the reason that I broke rules when I never even got to my stay. From 10am-6pm, I had to find a new venue and food (was originally going to cook) & was incredibly stressed out trying to replan and take care of my guests (some coming from far away but no longer had a place to sleep). I'm so grateful to have amazing family/friends who brightened the day, but the lack of communication & misleading listing details cost me unnecessary expenses & lots of stress. I really would've appreciated some consideration & the chance to find a common solution :(

Over all everything was great. We liked the location ascit was not far from rhe marina, the only down side was the parking space. It mentionned a 2 car garage and an extra space outside, but with our trucks did not fit in there and the outside space was limit. Could not park curveside either because there was construction nearby. We made do with a side street… Beautiful house inside, it was a way better than a hotel room.

This was a beautiful property, very clean and we were happy with the essentials provided. The host was very helpful and responded to my messages and questions promptly. Overall it was an amazing stay and I would definitely book this property again.

We stayed here due to our previous host cancelling on us on the day of our trip. Thankfully, Christi allowed us to stay at her place on such short notice. Definitely a blessing in disguise, as the place is clean and beautiful. Definitely a place I will book again!
