The location. We booked the property for it’s ideal location for Cheltenham Literature Festival. It’s about 300 yards from the Town Hall. When the smoke alarm peeped the host came straight away to sort it.

It’s a bit unloved….the bathroom was so steamed up and ventilation was poor and it smelt rather musty. It was in need of further decoration and I wouldn’t have wanted to cook in there with the limited pots and utensils.

Excellent location, close to shops, restaurants and local pubs. Well appointed unit with a lovely outdoor area.

The location was great. The flat was exceptional; tidy, clean, great facilities, and perfectly cool in the hot weather. The bed was very comfy and the flat is a really good size. I loved it and would love to stay there again.

I wish it was a little cheaper but that’s it! It’s the best flat I’ve stayed at in Cheltenham

The property was clean and luckily the bedroom was at the rear side of the house away from the noise of the busy street. Bed and pillows were comfy. It was within walking distance from the points I needed to reach.

The laundry powder smell from beddings (and towels) was overwhelming. I was waking up several times per night from the strong synthetic smell and the second night I've put my T-shirt on top of the pillow which made a slight difference as I could stil smell it from the duvet cover close to my nose. Also there was another smell in the bedroom which I would describe as a mixture of old and molded furniture or who knows what which was quite unpleasant. There was no window which I could open for fresh air and cooling in the bedroom as there were only doors to the garden which was not safe to leave open at night because of the possibility of cats or foxes. So, I left the door open so that some fresh air would come from the window which was in the area between the bedroom and the rear doors to the garden. It helped a bit.
