This was the perfect property to house my out-of-town friends for my December Wedding in Newport. The house was beautifully decorated for the Holidays and well maintained. Erin is an extremely responsive host, and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend by the water.

Our niece was getting married at Ocean Cliff and we wanted to stay close to venue but have comforts of home with my 2 grandchildren under 3. This house was perfect and so close to hiking to lighthouse and beautiful beach. Host was so responsive to any questions we had. This was a great experience for our family!

Stayed here for a wedding at Castle Hill. Walking distance from the venue. Beautiful views. Great for a large group.

The location of this property and the private beach are ideal; I don’t think you can beat this location in Newport. Unfortunately, we felt the property was wrongly advertised and unsafe in certain areas. The host was unwilling to resolve our issues privately and did not offer any satisfactory solution. The property lists and pictures a separate little cottage next to the house with a double bed and no bathroom. We had a few couples with us so we were planning to use this separate cottage so that couples could have some privacy. Unfortunately, the cottage had mold and mildew and so was unsafe to stay in. One of the people who stayed with us is a mold remediation specialist who confirmed the mold. In the house itself, there are four bedrooms but one of these is wrongly advertised as well: There is an attic bedroom with no door / privacy and that has a very short and sloping roof, so it cannot by regulation be considered a bedroom. My fiancé is 6’ and could not stand up in the room and hit his head several times. Also, all of the bedrooms but one are double beds, which are not comfortable for two people on vacation trying to relax. We would say this house more appropriately fits 7 adults rather than 12 (assuming someone is willing to stay in the attic). The staircase to the attic bedroom and the basement bedroom is very shaky and may be considered unsafe for children.
