The couple who owns the hotel are very nice. They made us feel welcome and also accommodated our request for a little bit late arrival than their usual check-in closing time.
The hotel is within walking distance to the beach. The beach is nice and has multiple options for food and kid's entertainment areas.
We couldn't find a room for the family of 4. 2 adults and 2 young kids. But maybe this was due to the last minute booking we made.
A larger TV than what currently is there would definitely be much appreciated by kids.

The breakfast was really tasty, vegetable sausages were very small. Good allergy information available. The toilet seat was really old and looked manky. Room was clean, but outdated facilities. The two owners were really lovely. Younger staff seemed to be confused at breakfast but were still polite. I probably wouldn't stay again because of the toilet seat by but good value & comfortable for a few nights. I didn't like how they came and made the bed, felt that was an invasion of privacy.

Stunning location, Deborah and Brendon were excellent hosts, nothing too
much trouble , friendly , helpful and sociable.
room was clean, modern and tidy, nice comfy bed. Full English breakfast delicious ! Plenty of car parking .

We loved going back there, we have been there before and loved it then to. We really like the owners Deborah and Brendan. They are so friendly and they really make sure you are happy with everything. The breakfast is top and delicious. We like going to the bar at the hotel at night, a lovely atmosphere and nice music. Brendan runs the bar and is always up for a nice chat. All the staff are friendly, my little boy has special needs and everybody made time to say hello to him. We will definitely go back. They also offer to book your ferry for you which saves money with their discount. :) We had a great view from our room.

The most amazing hosts, make you feel so welcome and are full of advice for places to see and eat, nothing seems too much trouble for them, will definitely book to stay again next time we visit the Island, breakfast is fantastic and plenty of it, great location with great views from the garden, room was clean comfortable and very peaceful

Amazing location overlooking Shanklin, easy walk to old village and down to the beach. Great breakfast, lovely proprietors - made me feel really at home.
No criticisms, very helpful friendly and perfect for a jumping point to all the lovely sights.

Ideal location. Close to the beach and restaurants within walking distance. Buffet breakfast was excellent.

Ours was a great experience. Our hosts were outstanding giving us great advice on activities, where to eat, and all aspects of our stay. This was a ten out of ten experience.

Location is fantastic and the hotel has an amazing view. Breakfasts are good and the owners are friendly and very helpful, always checking their guests are happy and if they need anything. Pool table was a great addition and went done well with the children!
Would have liked some fruit salad options at breakfast as well as the cooked breakfast.

Perfect location on the cliff top, views are amazing. The rooms were clean & very spacious. The hosts were very friendly & helpful & the breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Amazing location. Super friendly owners. Very good with allergies. My wife has coeliacs and she could have a full breakfast, i.e. they had gluten free bread and sausages, etc.
