אבני החושן - סוויטות יוקרה בצפת העתיקה - Avnei Hachoshen - Luxury Suites in the Old City

Location is good. Most of what we needed to do in Tzfat was within a 15 minute walk --or less-- from the hotel. There's a free petting zoo only 3-minutes walk from there, which our kids loved. *The staff helped us at all times, and they brought my wife headache pills when she didn't feel well. Very kind, very personal touch. And they allowed us to check out an hour late. There's a charming swimming pool and a very bubbly Jacuzzi under a starry sky. We used the Jacuzzi---it needs to be hotter, but we give it 10/10 for bubbles! The room is a charming old cave, with arches, very historical, very cozy, if you like that style. Nice lobby-sitting area as well.

The street itself is a long and winding back-alley and we were sure that we were lost, until we actually saw the hotel! There is no breakfast included, and is there no option to pay extra for breakfast. No windows, no natural light (but this was also a benefit, because it had a cool "cave" feel, and it made for a nice dark sleep). My wife complained that her lower back hurt after sleeping on the bed, she said it was an uncomfortable mattress. I didn't have that problem but I slept on a different mattress on the couch (pull-out). *When our towels or bathing suits were wet, there was no outdoor place to hang them. Things dry very slowly in that room.

The room is very cozy and clean... had everything we needed (and more) like towels, coffee, milk. The hot tub is huge. Great location in the old city. Amazing service - responds quickly and helped us with any questions we had. We highly recommend this place.

There is nothing we didn't like. Everything was as we expected and more.
