The apartment was modern, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was served out on the terrace each day and was extremely good. We loved it.

the bed is very comfortable, and the room is modern, clean, spacious, and nicely designed. The breakfast is okay. Honestly, you probably won’t find better breakfast in Himarë as options are very limited

This apartment is located directly on the main entrance road into town. Traffic is extremely loud and can be heard very clearly inside the room, often until midnight or even 1 a.m. If you wake up easily or are sensitive to noise, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. The hospitality was absolutely unacceptable. The owner seems to have no understanding of what hospitality means. When we arrived, she looked at us and said only three words: “Come.” Then: “Cash or card?” And that was essentially the extent of our interaction for the entire four days. On the second day, I politely asked if I could have a fresh beach towel. Her response was: “I don’t wash.” Seriously. As a result, I had to use the same dirty beach towel for four days — a towel that had already been used on beach chairs throughout Himarë. Our room was also never cleaned. It was supposed to be cleaned every second day, yet the owner was somehow entering our room every day without our permission. I know this for a fact and have evidence of it. It appeared she was checking whether we had left the air conditioning running, sometimes after we had been gone for only an hour or two. She never smiled once. We never felt welcomed. Not once. This was a shocking contrast to every other accommodation we have stayed at throughout the Balkans over the years, and especially in Albania, where we have generally experienced incredibly warm hospitality. This was, without a doubt, the most unpleasant host we have ever encountered.
