Hi Flavio, Thank you so much for your message, and most of all for your hospitality. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the apartment — it was such a lovely place to come back to after spending our days exploring Florence. Please also pass on our thanks to Marco for all the restaurant recommendations. We tried several of them and ended up going back again and again, so they were definitely a success! :) We also really loved hearing about the history of the apartment and the story of the carpenter who used to live there. Details like that give the place so much character and really spark the imagination. One small note: we left the iron unplugged on the table instead of putting it back in its box, simply because it was still warm when we were leaving. We also left a few ingredients for omelettes in the fridge — unfortunately, we ran out of time to use them, so hopefully someone can make a good omelette out of them instead. :) We truly had a great time and felt very well looked after. If we come back to Florence in the future, we would be very happy to stay with you again. Thank you once again for everything and hopefully see you next time! Best wishes, Magdalena & Mariusz

Wonderful check in with Marco, fabulous authentic apartment and location with Piazza Santo Spirito practically on your doorstep.

Unfortunately the washing machine wasn’t working at the time of our stay.

The flat was just over the bridge in a quiet area away from all the crowds and close to some good restaurants. A decent sized kitchen and fridge to cook and store food. I managed to walk from the train station to the flat in 15 mins

The AC wasn’t strong in the bedroom and living room could hardly feel it especially in the July heat.

Amazing location and authentic apartment in original building. Check in from Marco was great.

A bit over-priced given some of the advertised facilities (in particular laundry) were not functional. Absolute bare minimum basic supplies provided. Absent of any of the nice little touches or considerate inclusions from the hosts that can turn a good stay into a great one. Some mechanical noise (like a compressor motor in the building) can often be heard, which is tolerable but annoying.
