Very unique and nice setting, and a great value!

The lady at the desk loved to talk about the house and property. I very nice gentleman who prepared breakfast was also nice to talk to in the morning. It had a very nice mattress as well. We walked around the property a little and explored the many rooms of the house. It was nice to see an old house maintained and used for this reason. We would definitely come back if this way again.
Too bad the multi showerheads in the shower where capped off. It would have been nice to experience that.

Very nice breakfast food in a lovely room
We stayed in a former servant’s room so it was small. The small sink was challenging to use because the shelf above it covered much of it. Not much room for toiletries on the shelf either.

We only stayed one night. Location was in close proximity to event. Beautiful grounds. I enjoyed sitting outside by the river. Very peaceful.
Room was average. Outlets for charging devices are very limited. Disappointed breakfast didn't start until 8 am. We had to check out 1/2 hour before and the reception staff didn't even offer to take a coffee to go.
