Lovely quiet location .. exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff .
Car parking was a bit odd at the rear of the hotel as geared up mainly for coaches pick up and drop off at the front

The setting of the hotel is absolutely stunning. The grounds were lovely. Some lovely walks in the area. The property is large and comfortable and doesn’t feel crowded.
It does need some tlc in the decor, badly scuffed wallpaper and just a bit tired.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I thought the room decor looked a bit old and tired. Very small telly. No biscuits provided in rooms. Mattresses felt a bit old and springy.
This is in relation to the price paid. At £140 a night I thought it was a lot to pay for what we got.
