The stay was amazing. I was there with my family for 5 days and 4 nights, and the service was on point; the breakfast was delicious; the employees were very nice and made our stay memorable. If I come back to South Carolina, I’ll most definitely be staying at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Columbia NE again.

We had nothing but problems with this stay. On the Tuesday morning I called to extend my reservation a day. Could not get through on existing reservations so I called to book a new for one more day for the Friday. The woman first booked it for the wrong day for Saturday so I had to correct that. Then she told us we couldn’t keep our same room and would need to check out and check back in for a different room. On our drive in to South Carolina I received a call from the hotel saying they ran my card and it was declined. I advised on hotel.com I chose to pay upon my arrival so I asked why were they even trying to run a payment. Then they told me I’d lose my room if I didn’t pay right then. I again advised the booking status and that my wallet had been stolen and my mom was coming to pay when I checked in that night. I booked this hotel bc it had a pool yet that was closed. Nothing online noting pool only open season and was currently closed. One day for breakfast the 4 hot bar items two were empty and not replaced the other two had barely anything in them and they said they wouldn’t refill though 20 min left before 9am breakfast close. Which is too early to begin with. Coffee tea machine down last 3 days On the Friday we had to check out and back in they couldn’t find our reservation and had to create a new booking. Come to find out next morning the woman I called on Tuesday booked us at the wrong hotel. On top of that, though we never checked in they charged us at this lo

My family and I stayed 2 nights for the Fort Jackson graduation. The staff was very attentive to our requests and extremely friendly. However, we had to change rooms 3 times due to the rooms not being presentable or clean. The first room's pillows were spread at the foot of each bed as if cleaning had forgotten to place them at the head of the bed and the blanket had a stain on it. The second room -- once we pulled back the sheets, there was different types of hair in both beds and what looked liked an egg (possibly crumbs, possibly a booger, possibly a bug). The third room, we stuck with because it was the bigger of the 3 and it was a lot cleaner. However, we still noticed the sinks were not wiped clean and could only imagine what else in the room had not been properly cleaned. Overall, it got the job done, but it says so much about the cleaning team and the owners of the property.

Our room is well organized and clean. Receptionists are friendly and helpful.

We had reserved a King Bed room a couple weeks before our stay. When we got there, we got our room key and headed to our room. We unlocked the door to find that there was another family in the same room. Come to find out, we were the 3rd family who tried to get in to that room. They had overbooked that room 4x. Obviously they had to give us a different room and it was not the king bed room we had reserved. It was a double queen. The most frustrating part is that they didn't give us any kind of discount for the inconvenience. Even though the rooms and hotel overall was very clean and beds were comfortable, we will not be staying at this hotel again. Just the thought of knowing they gave 4 families the same room key......thankfully the family that was in the room had the bolt on the door or this scenario could have been very different.

Newer hotel. Clean and comfortable . Great value for the price.

Hotel was nice but towels were with marks on them and no water pressure in the shower.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Our room was spotless. The staff were so courteous and the breakfast was great! Highly recommend!

The hotel is fairly new, so everything was nice and up to date with breakfast included.

Place was very good overall, room floor was not vacuumed all the way crumbs were visble. Breakfast personnel were awesome but hash browns were cardboard hard (Microwave cooke overdone). But for an overall one night stay at the property and the prompt and courteous service of all personnel were very nice people, these are the reason why I give a 4 star to this hotel this stay.

This was a great choice for my family. It was convenient to the highway, restaurants nearby, nice beds, no noise, breakfast was nice, staff friendly.... Ok. That's enough. Just see for yourself like we did. You won't be disappointed.

This bright sparkling hotel in ColumbiaNE Is a welcome respite since it’s (re)opening 4 months ago. The rooms are extra-comfortable, full of light in daytime and dark as midnight whatever time of day you might want blackout for sleep. The breakfast is GOOD and fully replenished to the last minute of breakfast serving time. There’s a very attractive outdoor pool (altho not open until April’) inside the room, the noise buffering from outside is quite good and the walls are solid - never heard a thing from any neighboring room,. Perhaps the most impressive is the training of every member of the personnel. They are cordial and smiling naturally, but when impressed me, was there constant faithfulness to passing one’s issue along to the appropriate person with full briefing, they get back to you you don’t have to repeat everything and they present solutions as opposed to apologies. When a delay in dealing with a question is structurally the case,the staff follow before I could realize that no one had followed up! A terrific hotel all round
