We wanted to check in early as we were attending a wedding nearby. Jennie arranged this for our 2 booked rooms and was much appreciated.
The green light above the door closer was much too bright and created light in the bedroom all night. Could this be adjusted?

The accommodation is separate from the pub and we had a warm welcome from the landlady. The pub is fun and friendly and caters for local trade - it’s great value.
It’s all good and offers value for money.

Check in was simple, room key left in a basket in reception . Room was clean and well presented. A large fan was much appreciated. En suite small and shower head and fixing need attention but usable. We were not offered breakfast as person less check in and reception locked at check out, so left key in room.
Our stay at Dog and Partridge was exactly what we needed, a bed and facilities to get ready to attend a family wedding. The wedding was amazing.
The shower, good pressure but head and bracket need replacing.
I would have liked better instructions for checking out.

Lady who showed me to room was lovely. Bed very comfortable, though headboard very loose.
Good car park.
The Telly didn’t work! No wifi
Walls obviously thin, could hear people talking next door and snoring through the night.
On booking room they advertised “All you can eat breakfast “ ( extra charge) on Weekends only, this didn’t materialise as the accommodation was lacking a chef!
