Beautiful accommodation, stunning views, relatively private. Very central to all nearby activities. Staff and owner very on the ball. Definitely better than the "bigger" resorts for tranquility (in my opinion). Comfortable beds... aircon was great for the hot evenings and electric blankets for the very cold evenings. Hot tub of course was the drawcard and did not disappoint. Shower had excellent pressure. I didn't note prior to packing that there was only a bar fridge and we didn't pack a cooler box ...but a minor issue and more for a reminder for future visits to pack one to store ice. Amazing that such a small kitchen has the majority of what you need... We bought our Nespresso machine 😁 and we would probably bring a toaster to make it 100% complete. It has a wonderful gas hob and a microwave.

The tent was well equipped, good shower & bed. Once I realised it was a tent I liked. The dinner at the restaurant was very good, but there were no staff so the dear receptionist was the waiter & she didn’t have too much of an idea of how to be a waitress. She didn’t her best.

The reason for the Lower score was because Booking.com described the place as a cabin with a spa. It was actually a tent & we had to pay extra to use the spa. Because it was a tent it was cold. I was very disappointed when I arrived as I paid more to give my partner a perfect experience and it wasn’t. The second night the spa wood didn’t light, so we couldn’t use it at all. During dinner at the restaurant, the dog came in which wasn’t a good idea. It was mostly quiet except for barking dogs.

The view is spectacular and the tents and hot tub are beautifully maintained.

Tent 3 has ZERO hot tub privacy, they claim privacy but if you have tent 3 expect none in the hot tub. The hot tub is visible from the road inside the property and also the neighbors in number 2 can see the hot tub. All the other tents have beautiful private decks, make sure you don’t book tent 3 if privacy is important. Also there is a solar powered street light above the parking for tent 2 which points directly at the hot tub which ruins the view of the evening stars and once again makes it obvious that you are enjoying the hot tub at night. I did bring this to the staff’s attention before checking out, I hope next years trip will be even better.
