The chef at breakfast is excellent. Always happy to make something to suit our requirements, and always delicious and served promptly. The selection on offer is always excellent, with a wide variety of choices.

Extremely attentive and friendly staff. Great facilities and location in front of the beach and public walkway was great before it got hot
Nothing to dislike

A wonderful birthday stay and a fantastic first experience of both Oman and Mandarin Oriental. The staff made me feel so welcome, with thoughtful personal touches and a level of care that made the whole stay feel special.
The club lounge was a highlight. The team were warm and attentive, and the chef took great care to provide suitable canapés and food once he knew I was gluten-free. I really appreciated that attention.
The pool staff were equally attentive and made relaxing by the pool a pleasure. I also loved the location and being able to walk along the beach.
Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay. I would happily recommend the hotel.
The bed was a little firm for my preference, although the pillows were great. A choice of pillow types would have been a lovely addition, particularly a memory foam option. I would also have appreciated sparkling water in the room. Small touches that would have made an already wonderful stay even more comfortable.

The spaciousness and detailed elegance of the room, the staff, along with high quality of food at its restaurants, made my stay enjoyable.
