The Reach at Piccadilly, Manchester, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Rooms were clean and stylish (inter connected). Great location.

Second room wasn't ready until 5pm, an hour after we arrived and two hours after the official check in time. We were given a drinks voucher by a really helpful staff member. We then had two false fire alarms, one in the evening and one the following morning which woke us up. Also had staff ringing me when I was out if the hotel in the evening as previous occupant had left their passport in the safe, not the hotel's fault, but a bit annoying. I spoke to staff about these issues at check out and was told customer services would call me the next day to discuss. They didn't call. Lovely hotel, but a bit Fawlty Towers

We loved the reception and the comfortable rooms. The beds soft, pillows fluffy. Nice touches in the rooms with the coffee machine, fresh milk in the fridge and actual wine glasses. The rooms are immaculatr, very happy.

The only thing I would comment on is the toilets in reception. This is usually the 1st area a guest would visit after travelling when checking in.. They were a complete contrast to the rest of the hotel. Holes in the walls, no handwash or hand towels. Not what I expected. 1st impressions had me worried about the room. Please bring this area up to date with the rest of the hotels decor.

They left my daughter a birthday card. This was a lovely touch. Very convenient Location. Very nice room.

The location of the property was good, close yo main roads and the station. Also close to the places I wanted to visit.

The room was cramped, dark snd could have used a vacuum, there was dust in the floor that clung to my feet. Quite disgusting. Once a clam type suitcase was opened there was literally no room to walk about and to reach the other side of the bed, well that was just an obstacle course. Parkour anyone? I left a day early.
