Friendly staff; the biggest plus.
No reception staff; the biggest negative.
As above.

The location was perfect for my trip and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating. As the online guide stated, it is a lovely, quirky and peaceful hotel. Rooms were clean and there were adequate facilities for my stay.
Lack of a wardrobe to hang my clothes. Kettle electric lead was slightly short. On a maintenance issue, the shower rail was loose and will need looking at.

Breakfast was ok and location was convenient
The room was dark tucked away and needed some TLC.

Location was excellent. Owner kindly made arrangements for breakfast at a nearby pub when her own chef was taken ill at the last moment.
I didnt see anyone else while I was there - it felt a bit lonely.

"The door code and key box check in works well, location is superb, room was comfortable (annex). I especially liked having the whole garden to myself for an afternoon! There are no staff around at all..."
