A cosy hiide away yet near all the shops and facilities in Long Melford. It was quiet and even thought we'd been subjected to heatwaves this summer, quite cool in the house itself. It was well laid out, with a nice living area that was open plan into the kitchen. It was a nice touch to have a bathroom and a separate toilet also in the house. The seating area outside was pleasant and we thought the decor tasteful and restful.
Very little not lo like here. We do own quite a large VW Caddy which is a WAV vehicle for disabled family members. It was just a little hairy driving it down the narrow back street to the house itself. The owner had his own car to park, so we had to ensure we positioned ourselves favourably to avoid lots of manoeuvering in order to leave again.

A lovely weekend away. A fantastic family bungalow with garden, kitchen and dining room. The rooms are lovely and it is in a great part of Long Melford with walks, pubs and restaurants on the doorstep.

Louie was a welcoming, friendly, helpful host. He gave us advice on dog walks, recommended places to eat etc. The bungalow was cosy, roomy and had everything we needed. Lovely and quiet. We really liked the artwork on the walls. The garden was secure so we could let the dog out for a sniff about off lead. The high street was close by for shops and cafes (but you could not hear it at the property), and it was a short walk through the back gate for a country walk with the dog. Would definitely stay again.
