I loved the location on the right bank of Astana - there are lots of banks, cafes, shops, everything you will need (check out the Astana Mir Vkusa grocery store nearby for delicious prepared food!). The apartment is in an older building, but it is renovated, modern, and clean. Svetlana is a helpful and responsive host.
On the second day there were some problems with going up in the elevator from the first floor (going down was fine). I was able to maneuver by going up one floor to catch the elevator there, and in any event, it was fixed by the next morning.
