The location was perfect - easy access to beach and boardwalk. Good communication from host

The property is within walking distance of most of the restaurants and shops at the heart of Carolina Beach, while also being located on the beachfront.
Another noteworthy point is that the property is gated, so there is a minimal risk of vehicles being tampered with (not that this is a pertinent issue in CB, anyway).
For larger groups (5 or 6), some slightly better seating in the common area would be nice. There is currently a 3-seater couch (that folds out into a bed, if needed), a cushioned chair, and 2 kitchen table chairs (which are good for a short period, but not optimal for long sitting). Ultimately, this is just a small nitpick that didn't negatively affect my group's (4 adults) experience.
