Hotel Schwanen

Ett mycket bra hotell med mycket bra personal.

Our room was clean, comfortable and modern with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom. We had a 1st floor side street room and it was very quiet on a Tuesday in September. We were able to park in their own on-site car park, which was useful. The premises is very central so that the attractive town is easily accessed on foot. There is a terrace bar where guests can sit and watch the world go by. We didn’t take breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

There were no refreshment facilities in the room, which might be normal in Germany, I don’t know. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was hearty and tasty but their wine selection is very poor and rather stale. This might be a regional issue as there seemed to be a lot of beer available instead. Neither of these things would prevent us returning; we would just manage/plan better in the future.

I love the location which is literally a minute and a half walk from the bus stop and the train station to get to the airport or beyond. Amazing restaurant where we had steak and some German cuisine which was excellent great drinks great hospitality amazing service and the kindest staff manager and Owner that really made our stay so comfortable the beds were incredible the bathroom was huge, great bedding and just a wonderful warm sense and feeling in the place because it was safe it was historic and beautifully maintained I love this hotel and I will definitely stay here again when I come back or have to fly through Memmingen. Atmosphere like family, Quit, old fashion style inside and tools, state-of arts lighting in the room, Friendly service at a reception.

No lift, small parking lots, Soundproofing at the room entrance, Breakfast starting time (6:00AM possible?)
