I honestly have nothing bad to say.. thank you for an amazing stay in rome.

We stayed at this apartment for a week, my daughter and I, and overall had a lovely time in Rome. The location in the Monti neighborhood is genuinely excellent: central, charming, and within easy walking distance of many major sights. The apartment was clean, and the bed was comfortable. One thing that really stood out was the communication and the check-in experience. We were welcomed on arrival, and the host provided a great list of local restaurant tips, which we made very good use of throughout our stay! We also received a response to our feedback, in which the host mentioned plans to restyle the apartment. It's great to hear, and hopefully the points below will be useful as they move forward.

A few things worth knowing before you book, especially at this price point: Ventilation is a real issue. The apartment is in a basement, which I was aware of, but the lack of airflow means dampness builds up significantly. This had led to visible mold in the shower and bathroom, and even the salt in the kitchen had absorbed so much moisture that it was completely wet. The shower door doesn't close properly, causing water to flood into the living room after every shower. The bathmat stayed soaking wet throughout our stay as it simply couldn't dry out. The Nespresso machine, a lovely touch in principle, unfortunately didn't work, so we were unable to make coffee at home during the entire stay. The cupboard doors in the living room all hang crooked and are in need of some repair. Finally, the toilet has trouble flushing. A small note advising guests to dispose of paper in the bin rather than the toilet would be helpful. Despite these issues, we made wonderful memories together in Rome. With the planned refurbishment and some practical fixes, this apartment has real potential. The host's responsiveness and warm welcome are definitely a plus!
