Clean, cosy, comfortable

Walking into Keswick at night parts of it wasn't very well lit and there was a lack of proper pavements on some parts.

The lodge was self catering, but things like coffee and tea where all there when we arrived and a nice touch was a bottle of and buscits. The interior was exalet, clean and well organized. The location was perfect for us, surounded by hills and very peacful. Keswick was a steady 20 min walk.

Nothing, as far as we were concerned if was perfect.

Excellent location for Keswick and surrounding areas for walking generally and access to town! Ideal for six people to meet up from their various home locations.

Good meet up… BUT we were six adults and a baby… not so much room for travel cot and a local ‘jobsworth’ complained about three vehicles. Our cars were all on the drive (not main road - unlike her car!) well tucked in. What are we supposed to do when we have travelled from differing locations and on young couple have a baby and all his necessary equipment including a travel cot!?!? Such a shame the lady ranted and raved to my daughter, unnecessary when the site was quiet! Six adults and a baby will not fit into one or even two vehicles!

Location is excellent 2 parking spaces a bonus All facilities very new and modern. Lounge exceptionally spacious and comfortable. Outdoor space is very good. Not far to walk into Keswick Latrigg hike is an easy must do from the front door.

Not much really. Road traffic noise during day, maybe, but quieter at night.
