Understadt 14 guesthouse

OMG we just loved this place! If they have availability don’t look any further. Best location! We walked a short distance to get there from the train station which was so handy. We had a large lovely room on the second floor and the large windows opened up overlooking the pedestrian only cobblestone street. It was so nice to hear the comings and goings from the nearby cafes ( not loud) and at night when most of the tourists had gone home the locals seemed to come out to enjoy one of the many cafes. There is an excellent Italian restaurant across the street which we loved, plus the owner of the guesthouse has what we heard is an excellent creparie. The host was just wonderful and offered suggestions on things to do and good places for a bite to eat plus carried our suitcases up a small flight of stairs. Our room and the bathroom just next to the room were immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The only thing we regretted was that we were only there one night.
