Beautiful spacious rooms, relaxed environment, beach and pool ... just everything was great.
Nothing, it was perfect for a 3-night beach resort stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Al Hamra, a hotel that truly ticks a lot of boxes.
The rooms are absolutely beautiful. We particularly appreciated the low-rise villa concept, which gives the resort a more relaxed and spacious feel. Our room was incredibly spacious, with a large, comfortable couch and a modern yet warm design that made it feel both luxurious and welcoming.
The pool areas are very well done, and the kids' area was a real highlight for us. The slides were a huge hit, and we all enjoyed spending time by the pool. It is a great setup for families while still maintaining a beautiful and relaxed resort atmosphere.
We also had a very good experience at Waka. We really enjoyed the set menu, the drinks and the overall atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were phenomenal and consistently friendly and attentive.
A very special thank you to Catrina Jardin from Reception, who truly went above and beyond to help me locate a lost item. She also made our check-in and check-out completely seamless and was incredibly attentive, warm and friendly throughout our stay. Her genuine care and helpfulness really stood out.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and felt very well looked after. Sofitel Al Hamra offers a great combination of beautiful accommodation, excellent facilities, wonderful service and a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
The breakfast could be slightly better.

The staff were great especially the lifeguards. They were outstanding.
The resort could do with a bit of tlc. It’s looking a little warn in places.
