The view is stunning, unique, the breakfast excellent, Zulu is an extraordinary, playful dog who keeps you company, and the rooms and bathrooms are well-kept. A paradise!
Nothing but getting there involves a dirt and bumping road that is not simply passable with a normal car.

We absolutely loved the breathtaking views of the Virunga volcanoes — waking up to that scenery from the hilltop cabin was unforgettable. The cabin truly felt like a home away from home, with everything thoughtfully provided for a comfortable and cozy stay. The host was very thoughtful, the caretaker on the ground was incredibly helpful and attentive, and even Zulu, the friendly dog in the compound, made the experience feel warm and welcoming. Peaceful, private, and serene, it was the perfect escape in Musanze and we would gladly stay again.
Very little to complain about, honestly. The road leading to the property can be a bit challenging, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area or during bad weather, but once you arrive, it is absolutely worth it. In fact, we learned that the host provides pick-up and drop-off assistance from the main tarmac road, which was very thoughtful... he kindly helped us back to the road upon checkout. Otherwise, the stay exceeded expectations.

The place was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was convenient and made it easy to get around. Overall, it felt welcoming and well set up for a short stay.
Nothing in particular.
