It’s proximity to Kilronan; it was so comfortable and we loved how easy it was to check in/out and come and go as we pleased

Port Aran House was the last stop on our trip to Ireland, but also, quite simply, the best. We received a very warm welcome from Kevin and Sokha, who were always available and very attentive. The house is pleasant and well-appointed, with spacious and practical common areas. The rooms aren’t very large, but they’re comfortable. The accommodation is in a great location (the port is within walking distance, plus there are walks to enjoy…). And we enjoyed the hot tub: a magical moment! We’ll definitely be coming back to the Aran Islands, and we really hope to return to Port Aran House.

Great location just a short walk from Kilronan and the ferry. Lovely communal areas so you are not confined to your room. Our host Kevin provided many wonderful tips each day.

We felt very lucky to have booked a room at this lovely guesthouse on the magical isle of Inishmore. Everything about our stay was great - the breakfasts, the hot tub in the backyard with breathtaking seaside views, the room facilities, and above all, Kevin's warm hospitality and care. The host really made sure that all his guests had everything they needed. We didn't bring much luggage so it took us around 25 minutes of walking to reach the house, alternatively there are bike hire places and occasional taxis near the pier. We'll be keeping very fond memories of this place and hope to return one day. Thank you!
Everything was really good, we felt quite comfortable and warm for the most part. Our room floor was a little cold to walk on without shoes though (it was mid-September), so we'd recommend to bring slippers if possible.
