Location was good. Easy walk in to the heart of the old town. Bar was good and breakfast was also very good. staff were all helpful.

Directions to the carpark could be improved as it was quite confusing being so close to the opera carpark. The night was stayed/morning we departed was the same day as the Rouen Marathon. This started at 8.30am and, unbeknown to us, all the roads were closed around the hotel. It would have been useful if guests had been advised of this beforehand so we could have moved the cars earlier or if there had been hotel guidance of another route out of the city. As we were on a tight schedule to get back to Calais for the shuttle we had to find our own way out which meant various one way streets the wrong way and pleading with the marathon staff to allow us through no entry barriers etc. Success eventually but this could easily have been avoided. Hopefully there are no traffic fines in the post.

All the staff we we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Kaly was on reception for the 3 days of our stay and she was very welcoming, pleasant and she told us about the Son et Lumiere at the Cathedral which was a highlight of our stay. Really liked the location so close to the Seine and the old city.

The location and breakfast are great. The supermarket is close to the hotel. The beds are comfortable, the windows reduce the outdoor noise very well. The bathroom is spacious enough and has storage capacities. There is enough of dishes in the kitchen. There is laundry room where you can wash your clothes for 6 Euro per washing cycle.

The hostess requested an advance payment (150 Euro for 3 nights) that is supposed to be paid back to us after the check out. We were asked to throw away all trash before the check out. We were warned that there will be no room cleaning during our stay. The reason for all that - "because it's an aparthotel". The hair dryer is terribly uncomfortable, I don't recommend anyone with long hair to use it. It would be nice to provide salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen. I really missed the shoe horn in the entry zone.
