The staff was so friendly and helpful, Alice and Annie were great. We have not met nicer people. When they found out it was my daughter's birthday, they had a cake waiting for us.

Central and good vibes. Nice communal area and great for the larger family to gather. Great location and close to all the historical sites around Beijing. Wonderful and helpful staff, free laundry services, complimentary afternoon tea. Beds were an unexpected surprise, most comfortable for our entire trip, despite all our other hotels being 5star hotels!
Being a refurbished unit, the quaintness comes with a few dusty corners. Being located so centrally also meant that it was difficult to get taxis to come close by - we had to walk a short distance to grab a taxi. Jams were also quite terrible around the central area.
