The Bridge House Restaurant and Hotel

The room had so much character and was furnished luxuriously. We were given a really lovely warm welcome when we arrived. I fell in love with the room as soon as we arrived. The bed was so comfy and cosy and spacious. The bathroom was beautifully decorated with a gorgeous claw foot tub. I think this might be the best nights sleep ive ever had in a hotel, i didnt want to leave and cant wait to stay again! Thank you for a lovely stay

There was absolutely nothing we didnt like about our stay.

The staff was great and conversational, the location is perfect and picturesque. The room was cozy with immaculate vibes and the modern touches that really help make the stay.

While the near by pub is equally great. During some times of the week there are limited food options near by.

Modernised bathroom. Convenient having food options downstairs however…

We were told we were the only guests that evening but they couldn’t accommodate us for dinner downstairs and didn’t seem to be making much of an effort in this regard which is a shame. We eventually got a take away from the restaurant but that’s not ideal given the cost of the room per night and the Thai food. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable, it felt like it was collapsing onto itself. These are easy fixes to make the room and experience much better. We wanted to address these issues with reception staff but unfortunately it was a ghost town in the morning.
