Jiva Hoa Lu Retreat

The staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. They made us feel very welcome and took great care of us throughout our stay. Their kindness and excellent service really made the experience special. Highly recommended!

Staff and location fabulous

Rooms not that pretty

We had a truly wonderful stay at JIVA Hoa Lu Retreat. The property is beautiful, peaceful and very well maintained, surrounded by an incredible natural setting that makes it feel both intimate and special. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully designed and perfectly integrated into the atmosphere of the place. It is an ideal retreat to relax while also discovering the Ninh Binh area. What made our stay even more memorable was the quality of the service. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was genuinely kind, attentive and professional. The reception team was always available and helpful, and the whole restaurant staff took excellent care of us throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Finn, the manager, whose kindness, attention and professionalism made a real difference. He was always present when needed and made us feel genuinely well looked after throughout our stay. We would also like to thank Lê Nhân and Xuân for an absolutely outstanding massage experience. It was one of the highlights of our stay and genuinely unforgettable. We felt extremely well cared for from beginning to end and left with wonderful memories.

Nothing to mention.

Lovely grounds and swimming pool with decent breakfast and room service. Some lovely and some really uptight staff…mostly lovely. Try the tea ceremony…

Lack of ability to communicate in English, German, French, Spanish, etc…really bad with most of the staff. Some staff had a bad attitude towards service and seemed unhappy to be working there. They should be grateful or be fired…this is a place many would be lucky to work.
