Ankawa Holiday Hotel

Ankawa Holiday Hotel turned out to be a great choice for our trip to Erbil. The Ankawa neighborhood itself is a big plus, peaceful and welcoming, with plenty of good restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance, so getting around without a car wasn’t a problem at all. Check-in was smooth and the front desk team went out of their way to help with directions and suggestions for the area. Our room was spacious and quiet, with everything working as it should and daily housekeeping keeping things spotless. We especially appreciated the outdoor seating area in the evenings a genuinely nice spot to relax after a day out in Erbil, and not something every hotel in Ankawa can offer. Breakfast had a solid variety and set us up well for the day. For anyone comparing hotels in Ankawa or Erbil more broadly, this one stood out for the combination of a quiet residential setting with quick access to the busier parts of the city. Would happily book Ankawa Holiday Hotel again on a future visit to Erbil.

I really loved the location; it's not in the busy city center but it's very close. All the services provided were excellent, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.. The room was clean, the bedding was neat and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious.
