Location was perfect, no noise, yet only a few steps to the shops
The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and too soft, it felt like it needed replacing; there was no milk for a cuppa upon arrival, this would have been a nice touch to at minimum have had a small tetra pack of milk for tea after three hours of driving; the host sent lovely pre-emptive messages but did not respond when we actually did have a question.

A very spacious, characterful historic property.
A close walk to everything in Queenscliff.
Being dog-friendly was a big decider for us.
I particularly liked the artwork of local scenes.
It was quiet and peaceful.
The spiral staircase was a bit of a challenge for our 14 year old dog but she eventually got used to it.
Would have been a bit more convenient to not have to negotiate all the stairs to the main bathroom, although there was a toilet and basin upstairs.

Location was perfect. Apartment clean and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. Lovely, clean and large bathroom. Thank you.
Interesting to have accommodation on booking.com that does not include wifi. Had issues with onsite secure parking - either the remote control to open the gates needs its battery changed and/or the gates need a service. We had to ask a neighbour to help open the gates so that we could get our car out. This neighbour advised that there are issues with the gates opening and closing. Interesting that I recall the accommodation stated that yes, the apartment was pet friendly but in fact it isn't.
