OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort

You cannot beat the location and ease of access to the beach. Unfortunately they are renovating. Be aware checkin staff put all their effort into selling you an Outrigger membership & its benefits.

BEST location in Waikiki. You don't need a car at this location. If you want one, get a Turo that will drop it off and pick it up right at the hotel just for a few days. The staff are exceptional. The valet's couldn't be more helpful, the cleaning staff was great! Room is a bit outdated but very tiody and nice. The partial ocean view was worth it. Having Duke's and Hula Grill in the Hotel was so convenient. Trolley stop steps away, Target and a food court across the street. Hotel isn't too loud despite being right in the heart of the action. Free music every evening and you can sit on the beach and enjoy a sunset. What a dream place. The only bummer is the elevators. They are a nightmare. There's only 3 and they run on an archaic card system. Plan on waiting for elevators A LOT.

Excellent location and perfect beachfront. Restaurants are very good. Staff was uniformly helpful, pleasant, and efficient. Property is under renovation but we heard no construction noise over the 4 nights we were there. Highly recommend.

This is our go-to resort in Honolulu. While it is presently undergoing renovations they absolutely do not prevent your enjoying the property. Yes, there are temporary walls and some construction workers around during the day but there is complete access to the restaurants and beach. Construction work end by mid afternoon so there is no disruptions during the evening or night. Staff are among the friendliest I have ever encountered. Can't wait to get back and enjoy the new Outrigger.
