Despite being a very old character property. The Ostrich Inn was well maintained. Easy parking for even a large vehicle.
Had a great fish and chips that was served really quickly. Reasonably priced. Our room was clean with everything we needed.
One bedside light was needing maintenance to be fixed and tge flexible shower needed tightening but otherwise all was good.
Slept quite well, mattress a little too soft for our liking but all lovely bedding
Would stay again.

Quaint, comfortable beds, good service at pub, nice breakfast
Convenient parking behind pub
Noisy as it is on a main road and close to airport however quiet during the night, no traffic

The staff is wonderful the food and the bar was great. The only problem is the property is old. It is 11 century. It was cold in our room. We had to get an extra heater, but the Inn provided that and there was an issue with the water, we had no hot water one day. But again it’s 11 century Inn, I think it’s great for a night or two, but we stayed four nights, probably won’t do that again only because of the age, TV also was not working properly. We definitely will always go there for food and drinks, but maybe will not stay as long the next go round.
