Hotel Saint Nicolas

This place was the highlight of our trip on accomodations. The staff was super-friendly and accomodating, the property was really well location around the port, the price was right, the breakfast was awesome and would ENTIRELY recommend this place for all your travels. Thank you , thank you, thank you! Guillermhe was superb!!!

Great location with great restaurants and the port within walking distance. We rented bicycles from the hotel and enjoyed seeing the city via bicycle. Parking is under the hotel, and it is best to reserve a spot. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel. Excellent staff, clean room. Great location for exploring La Rochelle by foot. My only comment for suggested improvement is that the bathroom door is a sliding door that does not fully latch. If bathroom privacy is a concern of yours, it might not be the room for you. Also I believe that Air conditioning was meant to be available in my room but it does not actually kick on (it locks and cannot be set below the hotel’s chosen temp). I would have been frustrated if the weather outside had been any hotter. Regardless, I would personally stay here again and would recommend.

Beautiful setting and perfect location, right in the heart of La Rochelle but still quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the chamber maid who kindly knocked on our door and offered us new towels, tea bags etc, great service thankyou.
