I booked a room very last moment on the Saturday afternoon. Was welcomed in 15 minutes later. Mr le Patron was very kind upon arrival. His staff in the bar were adorable.
For the price, location, and welcome it was excellent.

So central and so clean. Value for money outstanding. Had breakfast there two mornings and service was brilliant jimmy.m

Shower didn’t have a hook to hold it up so had to make one out of a hair bobble. Movement sensor light keep coming on in the middle of the night. Banging above at 4am in the mornings and moving furniture around, bed not comfy, electrics a bit dodgy.

One of the best locations on the marina in La Rochelle. our room had a balcony over the marina view was stunning.
the room itself was very small and really a single room basic room and shower/water pressure very poor. ok for our short stay.

Great location right by the port. Good sized room (Rm 32) with a comfortable bed, bathroom and separate toilet and bidet. It had a great view towards the Ferris wheel. The hotel has a lift so handy if you're in the higher floors. The host was very welcoming and allowed us to store our luggage until we checked in so we could explore the town. They served a lovely continental breakfast which we enjoyed sitting out looking over the old port and famous towers. It's in the heart of the old port so close to shops and restaurants. We would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay again.
No air conditioning meant you had to leave the window open for ventilation but the old port was quite noisy during the night so we needed to close the window to cut out the noise so it got a bit stuffy. The shower head holder was broken and there was no slip mat in the bath. However neither of these minor issues affected our enjoyment of our stay and it didn't warrant raising it with the manager.

Perfect location, marvelous view, and the staff were extremely welcoming.
The towels weren't changed daily during my stay, but the room was very clean.

Staff were lovely, helpful and efficient. We were given a balcony with the most amazing view of the old port. Breakfast was good value and taken in the bar so we could watch the world go by, perfect.
Not the hotel's fault nor problem but parking in La Rochelle old port is an expensive nightmare. We finally parked in suburbs and got a taxi in. Not cheaper but at least we didn't have to get up early to move the car/feed a meter.

The view over the harbour from the balcony was excellent. Nice french breakfast with hot chocolate €7.
The shower was not the best because water went onto the floor but it was good to use.

The welcome was warm , centrally located , beautiful view from room of harbour and castle, perfectly situated. We wanted to stay longer but couldn’t this time but we’ll definitely be back soon.
