Very convenient location, close to Old Port and Old Town. Many restaurants and cafes nearby.

The location was ideal. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The rooms are dated. Hard to carry luggage up to the top floor rooms as staircases are narrow and wonky.

Really conveniently located hotel, right near the brilliant market and a short walk to the centre. Excellent and friendly staff. Everything was as expected.
Would have killed for a mini fridge on the hot days, but not the end of the world.

The location is excellent. Secure paid parking 2-3 minutes.
I booked a large room with two double beds. Booking was confirmed. When we arrived the room was already occupied and not available. We were given a small double room that was made into a twin by separating the double into two. I didn't get what I had booked.

Great location beside Place Verdun for buses and taxis and very close to the market. The historic port also in walking distance. Rooms had shutters which blocked the light well. Also very quiet at night.
Rooms, a double and a single were very small. Double room had small bedside stand which got in the way of opening the wardrobe. Little table and 2 chairs at window. Room had musty/dusty smell.. Might be better to get rid of the carpet.

Breakfast very good. Room lovely. Staff very helpful and good.
Our room was three flights up with no lift. We had a dog who did not like coming down the steep stairs.

Lots of cafes, restaurants, shops nearby. Local market is 2 mins walk.
Hotel is a 10 min walk from the port.

It's a 5 minute walk from the parking garage. Fine for us, but if you have lots of luggage this could be a problem.

Great, clean, basic room with very friendly staff. Located close to centre and port, and just steps away from car parking. What more could you want?
Would like coffee making facilities in room. There's no lift,
so beware if infirm.

Perfect laid back backstreet hotel in La Rochelle. Massive windows for ventilation (it was hot). Great acces to the old port for bars and restaurants. Restaurant recomnendation from check in guy was stunningly good!
Breakfast felt a little lacking for the price. No serious complaints tho

Great location, good apartment, big windows and natural light and very nice and helpful staff.
The apartment (and breakfast) are relatively expensive, so the quality/price ration is not the best.

Centrally located
The bedroom was very warm without air conditioning and without coffee facilities and in general throughout the hotel there needs a freshening up, it’s looking very tired. I didn’t have breakfast, but was charged for a cup of coffee…..!

The staff/ man who greeted us/ did breakfast and everything else was amazing, so helpful and friendly and made us so welcome. Offered us croissants to take away with us for our journey. Kept our cases for us while we looked around. Loved the location and loved la Rochelle. Perfect for a one night stop off.

Hotel in general was good. Nicely decorated and maintained in the public areas. Excellent location in the town.
Being shouted at as I queried that we were not allocated the room we had reserved. Apparently, they are not Booking.com. No interest at all. Made for an uncomfortable stay. Room was basic and tired. Carpet stained.

The Receptionist who checked me out was very kind and helped me with a heavy suitcase.
Decor throughout the hotel is dated. The bedroom/en-suite was in need of paint and was a puzzling layout. Breakfast was poor: no plain croissants, no savoury, and really rough coffee from a flask.
