Given that this property was really impacted by construction next door the price, allowing for the fact that it was during the AO, was pretty good as it was very easy walking distance to Melbourne Park. Our room was an absolute dungeon, there is no other way to describe the rooms in the basement! We were realistic about this however, due to the conditions in play and once the construction is finished things should be a lot better. They don't try to pretend they are anything more than a mid range hotel but I would stay here again because the location is fantastic for the AO and the staff were lovely.

Small but functional room. Had everything we needed for one night.

We arrived early and I was able to get into my room 2 hours before regular check in. That was great as I was able to get a good nap in before heading out to the city. Less than a mile from MCG and close to a lot of shopping, bars and entertainment. I will definitely look to stay here again on my next visit. Having a washer/dryer was also a big perk.
