Simple but clean and comfortable accommodation, had everything we needed for a one night stay while attending a conference in Melbourne.
Staff were warm and welcoming, great communication from the initial booking through to check-out. Excellent proximity to Her Majesty's Theatre if seeing a show there, which we did.
Would stay again, great value for money.

The reception staff was friendly and helpful, especially Blessing as I mentioned to her that the only fault with the room was that the bed mattress was too soft and I had a bad night’s sleep because of it.

The room and bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfortable. Convenient location in the middle of Chinatown if you're ok with walking around. The kitchen and bathroom were clean. Staff were helpful and communicative regarding check-in and storing my bags when I didn't have the room. On public holidays the reception hours are limited to 0900-1700, but after hours check in works.
Quite a few downsides though. The studios face a laneway used by garbage trucks around sunrise and the noise seeps though the doors and windows. The decor, sofa, carpet, bathroom fittings, and walls were definitely showing their age in terms of design, dirt, wear and tear. It looked they were in the process of renovating their common areas, a process which I hope would extend to the rooms. The crockery was mismatching and chipped. The fridge also wasn't cold enough while the freezer compartment was just a little below freezing. I would suggest not leaving unfinished food out in the open and checking if the fridge is sufficiently cold before storing perishables, just in case.

jonte at the front was the absolute sweetest made check in so easy and was interested in what i was doing and my interests they were an absolute angel id genuinely give 5 for them alone but the room was so nice the shower and toiletries were perfect and nice smelling the balcony was a bit sketchy for standing but thats okay apart from that everything else was perfect i would stay here again 10/10
