i think you need to read past reviews with a grain of salt. Similar to some Amazon reviewers, there are folks that just can't be satisfied. If you've ever stayed at a Motel 6 in the US, this place is leaps and bounds better. Sure, it lacks amenities, like a shelf in the shower for shampoo and soap. And if you demand a western-style breakfast, get over it - your'e traveling....in Indonesia...and it's free. If you're a budget traveler, this place rocks

There is not an airport shuttle, though the site says there is.
Manage your expectations, it’s a cheap place to stay. Good enough for one night before a continuation flight, but not good to visit the city from.
