I've never been to a homestay before and I had the best experience ever! Pedro and his family are really kind and provided me with everything I needed. Also when I needed to go to the hospital, Pedro took me and stayed until I got out and translated everything, he was so helpful. Also the rooms are really nice and clean and have the best value. The sunset from the property is amazing and you have a beautiful view over the sea, beach and the city. Food was also amazing and always enough! I would definitely recommend and I wish I could stay longer!

The view is super nice, I really liked the food and the owner Pedro is very kind and supportive. He had recommendations what to do and rented me a scooter to get there. I really liked my stay. It was wonderful

We had three wonderful nights at Pedro’s place with his family. After weeks in homestays, this truly felt like a retreat for us. There was running water, a proper shower and toilet, and even air conditioning. The food was excellent. Pedro helped us with everything. He even came with me to the hospital when I had an ear infection and a bladder infection. He drove me there and translated everything for me, which was a huge help. We are very grateful for that. He also helps with planning trips to see the birds or to visit Kali Biru. We rented his scooter and explored Waisai and the surrounding area on our own, which was great. The terrace is beautiful and perfect for watching wildlife. We saw many colorful birds and parrots, as well as huge lizards, which we think were Papuanwarans, hanging in the trees, so keep your eyes open. There are even binoculars available to use. We had a really lovely time. Thank you so much.
