Spa was great

The onsen is great, with jacuzzi and sauna facilities, but the outdoor pool is quite small. Next to the onsen is a spa lounge, a good place to relax after hot bath, and there is free flow of soft drinks. During happy hours, from 2-8 pm, there is free beer too. Best part about the hotel is that it is next to ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel where the airport bus has its first pick up point, so a very convenient location. The airport bus drop off is in front of Hotel Monterey Edelhof Sapporo. Hotel is within walking distance to Sapporo JR station where there are many shopping malls. It is also walkable to Tanukikoji Shopping Street with lots of shops, as well as Nijo Market for fresh seafood.

Hotel felt very grand, had an old world charm with beautiful features. Onsen surprisingly good, especially the various jacuzzis. Amazing central location, very easy by bus from airport. Very clean and friendly staff.
